Journey Behind the Falls is Niagara Park’s flagship attraction. Attracting millions of guests from around the world every year to view the thundering waters of the Horseshoe Falls on a platform below.

Due to the incredible number of guests that come though the doors to see Journey Behind the Falls, a queueing area is necessary to hold. This area wound around a flight of stairs and two large rooms, before arriving to the elevators that deliver you to the platform.

The problem: The queueing area can be long, and previously gave no experiential benefit to guests waiting.

The solution: We created an in-depth experiential exhibit, taking visitors on a journey through time, from the geological creation of Niagara Falls to present time. Through interpretive panels, animation and videography.
